Abundance of specific mRNAs were determined for (L) larvae (3rd and 4th instars), (M) adult males (3 days post emergence), (NBF) non-blood fed females (3 days post emergence), females at 3, 24, 48, 72, and 96 hours following a blood meal (BF), females aged 18 days with (BF15d) or without (NBF18d) a bloodmeal, and females blood fed twice within a gonotrophic cycle (MBF). Three samples were analyzed for each time point and were referred to as samples 1, 2 and 3 ( i.e. M1, M2 and M3 represent data from the hybridizations of three independent RNA samples extracted from adult males).
